Technology Fast?!?!

Yes - The Altitude Camp is instilling a technology fast for the first 3 days of each week (Wed - Fri). That means leaving your gadgets and gizmos in your bag
  • cell phones
  • laptops
  • ipods / mp3 players
  • pagers
  • palm pilots / PDAs
  • TV (except for group events or the Olympics are on)

Instead, bring boardgames, cards or other fun games to play with other Altitude folks. We really want to encourage you all to get to know each other and become BFFs. We'll have plenty of activities each of those days - so don't worry about being bored.

You'll hear more about the technology fast when you get to camp.

Sign Up For Camp!

There's less than a month until The Altitude Project 2008 Camp starts! Make sure you're signed up. Here's the availability for each week -

Interview with Coaches Jay & Karmen (Shorter College)

We had the privilege of interviewing Jay & Karmen Stephenson, husband & wife coaches at Shorter College. If you've come to camp the last couple years, you've probably had a chance to meet this awesome couple!

What did we talk about in our interview?
  • How 2007 Altitude participants (Amy, Marc, Carson twins, Dustin, Godsave, & Allen) did this year?
  • Who's coming from Shorter College to Camp 2008?
  • What's God doing in their lives!
  • Best question - Who would Jay fight in a boxing match, Jimmers or Avery. He has quite the answer!
You'll definitely want to read their interview.

FloTrack Interviews Greg Jimmerson

It has been one amazing year for ALTITUDE Project Director, Greg Jimmerson. He's been coaching at Liberty University and overseeing the distance runners, including this year's NCAA Cross Country Champ!

Check out his interview on FloTrack - click here

(Greg looks a little nappy - his wife will have to do something about that for future interviews!)

Yay, We're a Non-Profit!

The ALTITUDE Project is now officially a 501(c)3 Non-Profit! We received our status from the IRS in November 2007. What does that mean? Well, it means that you can make a tax-deductible donation to The ALTITUDE Project. Great work Avery & Greg!
